PM Koirala, Dahal hold talks

KATHMANDU, FEB 15 – Prime Minister Sushil Koirala held talks with UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at his residence in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu on Saturday.

UCPN (M) Chairman Dahal reached Koirala’s residence in Maharajgunj to hold talks with the prime minister.

Dahal’s meeting with Koirala comes at a time when Nepali Congress and CPN-UML are at odds over the allocation of Home Ministry which has hampered the government from taking complete shape.

This is the first time that the two heavyweights are holding a discussion after Koirala’s election as the prime minister last week.
