Finance Minister – ADB vice president Zhang meeting

8 March, Kathmandu:

Asian Development Bank (ADB) vice-president Wencai Zhang held talks at the Ministry of Finance here today.

During the talks, they discussed matters of bilateral cooperation. The Finance Minister’s press advisor Mohan Chapagain said the ADB has shown interest in big energy projects and strategic cooperation projects.
The ADB Vice President discussed about post-earthquake reconstruction with the Finance Minister.

The ADB has been providing support for the construction of the Gautam Buddha International Airport as well as infrastructure construction of the Lumbini Development Trust. Minister Poudel also thanked the ADB for the support it has been providing Nepal.
