Education Ministry gets coordinating role for International Yoga Day celebrations
Kathmandu, June 10
The government has assigned the Education Ministry as the coordinator to make arrangements for celebrating the second International Day of Yoga on coming June 21.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers Wednesday handed this responsibility to the Ministry, as shared by Education Minister Girirajmani Pokhrel. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation is assigned as the joint-coordinator.
It may be noted that the United Nations decided to observe June 21 as the International Day of Yoga. RSS
