AFC Solidarity Cup: Nepal faces Brunei for spot in quarterfinals

Kathmandu, November 8
Nepal will face Brunei today in their second and final Group ‘ A’ match of the ongoing AFC Solidarity Cup. The match will kick-off at 5:15 pm NST and will be played at Sarawak stadium in Malaysia.
This match will decide the team that will qualify for the quarter finals. Nepal had played a stalemate against Timor Liste in their first Group ‘A’ match on Saturday while Timor Liste had lost against Brunei with a wide goal difference of 4-0 in their first match. Thus, Nepal will qualify for the quarter-finals unless Nepal concedes more than 4 goals in today’s match.
Out of seven countries participating in the tournament Nepal alongside with Timor-Leste and Brunei are in Group A. Whereas, Sri Lanka, Macau, Mongolia and Laos have been listed in group B.
