A young woman’s death while canyoning

In the village of Ghalel, Ward 9, Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality, Kaski, a young woman lost her life while canyoning.

On Wednesday, during the canyoning activity, 22-year-old Anjita Bhandari from Budibajar, Pokhara-26, tragically passed away. The information was provided by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shravan Kumar B.K. , the spokesperson of Kaski Police.

She was seriously injured during the canyoning and passed away while undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital in Pokhara.

The police have provided information about the incident and have arrested three individuals for further investigation.
