 500 earthquake affected households aided for toilet construction

The Community Development Society Manthali provided support to 461 earthquake-affected households of Khaniyapani VDC in their efforts for the construction of toilets and maintenance of drinking water projects.
With the funding of UNICEF, the Society had collected data of the entire households of the VDC and drawn the map of earthquake-damaged toilets and small drinking water schemes.

Based on the data and demand of the victims the Society provided them with necessary cement, pipe and sheets for the renovation and reconstruction of toilets and drinking water scheme, said Keshab Dahal, technician of the Societ’s earthquake victim support project.

The Society has implemented a four-month support project in four VDCs after the earthquake.. RSS
