20,300 children fully vaccinated in Jhapa

Twenty thousands and 300 children were fully vaccinated in Jhapa district.

Immunization Officer at the District Public Health Office, Jhapa, Ishwori Poudel, said that 20,300 children up to one year were fully vaccinated in the district.

Poudel said that the children were fully vaccinated in the district under the campaign to immunize all children within 2017.

Two municipalities and six VDCs of Jhapa district have already been declared as ‘fully immunization zone’.

Shaniarjun and Shivasatakshi municipalities and Dhaijan, Shantinagar, Haldibari, Budhabare, Dangibari and Goldhap VDCs have already been declared ‘fully immunization zone.’

Poudel said that Duwagadi VDC is being declared ‘fully immunization zone’ today while preparation was underway to announce Birtamod and Gauradaha as ‘fully immunization zone’ on July 5 and 6 respectively. RSS
