Army clinch Nepal Cup

The Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) has clinched the title of fourth Nepal Cup Football Championship.
Army won the title by edging Nepal Police Club 2-0 in the final match held on Monday evening.
With the title, the TAC has received Rs 300,000 in cash and a trophy. Likewise, NPC being the first-runner-up in the tournament received cash prize of Rs 200,000.
Army strikers Bharat Khawas and Suman Aryal scored one goal each to guide the team to victory.
NPC’s defender Rabin Shrestha was declared the best player of championship while Army Team captain Khawas received the top scorer title with three goals to his credit.
Some 11 different teams had participated in the championship.
