Nepalese living in Japan to distribute cards extending invitation on Nepal

20 May, Tokyo, Japan:

Nepalese currently living in Japan have decided to distribute about 30,000 postcards with ‘Thank You Japan and Invitation to Visit Nepal’ written on them at different 50 places.

Such cards are to be distributed in honour of Government of Japan and Japanese who generously supported Nepal during last year’s earthquake. Nepalese Embassy in Japan, Nepal Tourism Board and NRNA, Japan chapter have decided to distribute such cards on May 29 aimed at extending invitation to Japanese for Nepal visit.

Similarly, about 60,000 Nepalese living in Japan will bow down their heads to extend thanks at 3:0-4:0 pm on Sunday in Japan in honour of government of Japan and the Japanese, said Charge d’ Affaires at the Embassy of Nepal in Japan, Gehendra Raj Rajbhandari.

NRNA Japan chair Sudan Thapa informed that the programme will be organized aimed at more supports in the days ahead from Japan and to extend the invitation to Japanese people to visit Nepal even to fulfill the responsibility to Nepalis during the critical hour.

The cards have the picture of the Manaslu Peak (8163m) as most of the Japanese are found attracted towards the peak. This even has been organised in the run up to the 6oth anniversary of the establishment of bilateral ties between Nepal and Japan on 1 September. RSS
