Nepal Telecom plans to add 2.2 million more customers
Kathmandu, Aug. 31: Nepal Telecom has made a plan to distribute a total of over 2.25 million lines within the current fiscal year 2071-72 BS.
Under it, two million will be extended towards the GSM mobiles. For it, a Chinese company Huwawei has been working. In CDMA, 200,000 more and in general telephone, 25, 956 lines will be added.
At a press meet organized today, it said it will improve quality of mobile service and data services, as third generation (3G) service had got more attention from the customers.
The telecom has now 10,904,462 customers and 1,728, 402 were added in the last fiscal year.
