Minister Rai insists on expansion of internet to remote villages

Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai has said the government has a plan of connecting the far-flung areas with the internet service.
Opening the newly constructed building of a primary health center at Ghodetar of Bhojpur Wednesday, Minister Rai said every village needs to be connected with the internet service in this era of information and communications. The current time of the country demands action not speech, he said, adding that the government would prove its presence in meaningful outcomes.

The Communications Minister inaugurated the launching of ‘landline’ telephone services at Ghoretar Wednesday itself.

Meanwhile, an integrated mobile service camp has started in the Ghoretar market area from Wednesday. The mobile service camp includes the services of the District Administration Office, District Development Committee, Women Development Office, telecom and banking services and services relating to security and agriculture. The two-day camp is expected to be directly beneficial for the people of over 10 villages including Ranibar, Homtang,Khairang, Patlepani and Sindang. RSS
