Husband commits suicide after murdering wife

A husband committed suicide after killing his wife and leaving three children below four years of age in disarray on Sunday.

Kamal Bohara, 28, of Kulada of Patan Municipality – 9 murdered his wife Bindu Bohara, 25, before committing suicide after a minor dispute, Inspector Surendra Bam said.

Kamal attacked his wife with an axe and a stick before hanging himself. Kamal, a migrant worker, had returned home from India only 25 days ago.

Police suspect that the husband could have doubted his wife’s fidelity after a prolonged period of work abroad.

Two sons and one daughter under four years of age have been orphaned following the tragic incident. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Patan Primary Health Centre for a post-mortem examination report, District Police Office, Baitadi said. RSS
