Education Minister insists on well management of schools

Kathmandu, November 10
Education Minister Dhaniram Poudel has said better management of the existing schools instead of opening new ones is the government’s focus.
Taking part in a discussion programme organised by National Campaign for Education-Nepal and Learning Group here today, Minister Poudel said the proper management of the community schools ensuring quality education is the priority of the government.
A new (revised) education regulations that is in the process of formulation will lay focus on merger of schools with less number of students and the quality improvement of those with a good number of students.
Currently, there are some 33,000 community schools across the country. RSS
