Bandh affects life of people

The normal life in the Lekhnath and surroundings has been affected due to CPN-Maoist Biplav organized bandha on Sunday.
Educational institutions, markets and shops pulled down their shutters from early morning, while public and private vehicles stayed off the roads.

People, including office goers, tourists were forced to walk to get to their destinations though there is none of the Maoist cadre to stop the transportation. Children are seen enjoing cycling, learning skateboard, playing cricket and football. Security personnel have been mobilised in major chowks and the road sides. Rarely vehicles like motorbikes are also seen moving on the road.

This bandha was called against corruption, black market, price hike demanding food security. Ambulance, press related vehicles, police patrolling and tourists vehicles are seen moving on the street.
