Bajracharya notches ‘Mr Machhapuchre’ title

Palpa’s Binod Bajracharya has been declared ‘Mr Machhapuchre’ after winning the western regional level ‘Open Bodybuilding Championship’ in the heavyweight category of above 75 kg.

Bajracharya won the title by defeating Kaski’s Kamal Bhandari and Manoj KC, Kapilvastu’s Surendra Prasad Burma, and Rupendehi’s Tara Bahadur Thapa and Krishna Prasad Shrestha.

Bajracharya was awarded a trophy, Rs 50,000 in cash and other gifts along with the coveted title. A total of 65 contenders from six districts took part in the contest held from September 2. RSS
