Gunday collects Rs 43 crores in first week
Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Gunday’ seems to have impressed their fans and has managed to do a decent business of Rs 43 crores at the Box Office.
According to a report in Koimoi, Gunday saw an opening of 60% on its first day.
The film collected around Rs 43 crore during its first weekend. The Gunday team was seen promoting the film in every section of the country. Songs too grabbed attention before the release of the film.
Based in Calcutta during its most unsettled times in the ’70’s, the film deals with the inseparable life of Bikram and Bala, who grew from being small time, inconsequential coal thieves, to becoming the most powerful black marketing mafia-men. A story of two happy-go-lucky renegades who came to be known as – GUNDAY.
