Education through radio, TV and mobile phone

Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokharel has said that the education system of the country should be changed as per the time, and education should not be imparted through radio, TV and mobile phones.
Inaugurating a two-day conference on ‘Consolidation of Public Education in Nepal’ organised by the Ministry of Education here today, he said education should not be confined within a class room, distance education should be promoted. The Education Minister also stressed on the need for a new education policy in the country.

Various experts are presenting working papers at the conference that will end with a declaration on Monday. RSS
