One day trip to Ghandruk
Everyone want to visit different places, specially during the holidays. This is about the one day trip to Ghandruk which is one of the destinations for the internal and international toursits.
The one day trip to Ghandruk started at 3:30 PM from Pokhara passing through Naudanda, Nayapool, Birethanti, Syaulibajar, Dhamle also called Kimche and after parking motorbikes walking started nearly about 5 PM.
The beautiful scenery of waterfalls, on the way, that can easily attract anyone makes to spend sometime for photography.
The Gurung society, culture, homestay and lovely mountains are the special attractions of Ghandruk. The train to welcome the group of tourists to reach there is the first impression of the people over the community.
The people seen busy in agriculture since the time was for harvesting rice(paddy) and the village life-mixed homestay would give freshness even after tiresome walks to everyone with the served organic food cooked after fresh collection from the fields and, of course, the hospitality.
The place is really wonderful as its the tourist route that links to Ghorepani and Poonhill where mostly foreigners are seen. Many restaurants, guesthouses, tea houses and even bars and shopping are available along the way.
There is still the lack of easy transportation so the things are expensive but the homestay are really nice and are available at Nrs. 250 onwards depending upon the services. Some more offerings is for the one to be there in a group of 6-7 in minimum who can enjoy lodging and fooding at the range of Rs 800 to 1200. Talking about one of the best stay is Snowland which provides lot of services.
The early morning makes you lucky to have such wonderful view of the beautiful mountains seen like the silvers that turns golden with the early Sunlight.
The one day trip ended and only the memories we could bring back that would make each of us joyful.
